The Road Ahead Scaled & Automated Rapid Insights & ROI Sustained Impact

Thank you, again, for your investment of time and energy into today’s event and into your adoption of Seeq at your organizations. What we see as we work alongside our hundreds of customers is that the common thread that unites them as a desire for change – to improve the insights, drive continuous improvement and outcomes, to make all of this possible. As you heard from our speakers throughout the day, they are all leading change – some big and some small – the improve operational efficiencies, or reduce waste or transform plant performance.

As we conclude today, I want to wrap up with a view for the Road Ahead – how will you chart the next steps within your company. While everyone has their own unique challenges they are facing on a day to day basis, we see best practices for how to achieve your outcomes. It starts always with delivering Rapid Insights and ROI – connecting to you data, training your teams, delivering high value use cases quickly. Then, we see companies scale up their usage of Seeq and begin automating insights at scale – monitoring by exception, business process redesign, production surveillance across as many as tens of thousands of assets or processes. Finally, at the top quartile, we see innovative companies sustaining the impact of that performance and that can come in different ways – having thousands of engineers and data scientists using Seeq, implementing generative AI to scale their expertise across the business, and delivering transformational outcomes including percentage points improvement in production or line availability.

When Dustin started this business I don’t think even he knew what Seeq would look like to enable this journey from rapid insights and ROI to Sustained impact. I think He knew customers needed to create value from time series data but the requirements and building blocks for delivering sustained impact…..that came from the people in the room. We work very closely with organisations that have embedded Seeq into their daily operations to understand how we need to change to meet their needs. So this journey to sustained impact is really also the evolution of our product around customer needs

I mentioned at the beginning of the day that these events are a great opportunity to take a look in the mirro and self evaluate what you’re getting out of Seeq. Don’t feel embarrassed about your progress. The chance are that if you’re not speaking with the Seeq or Nukon team on a regular basis, you wont even know about Vantage and our Gen AI capability and the building blocks to get.

So how do you achieve that state of sustained impact for your business

The organizations that we so proudly call customers have told us that the journey to sustained impact looks like this. These are the building blocks to enterprise value. Rapid Insights and ROI. You start with your subject matter expects and empower them. They want to be able to identify insights in their operation to allow them to make changes to set points in their processes, they need to move from time based to predictive based maintenance practices, they want early warning for equipment failure.

Once they’re comfortable with the use cases they’ve addressed and the problems they’r solving they want to scale these efforts quickly to all assets, all sites, automate condition monitoring,, while at the same time manage this scale by exception so they can plan their day and really make progress with continuous improvement processes.

It’s only once they reach this scaled and automated place that the sustained impact embeds itself in their organisations.

Jason the problem you are solving is fantastic Then we’ve got Santos – 10,000 IOW widows British Sugar – it now takes them half the time to develop an industry expert using Seeq and AI

So how do you make this happen with seek software. On the bottom Right we've started with the industrial analytics and AI suite which is really about enabling experts, process engineers, data scientists and other analysts in your business to build on both 1st principles, insights, but also accelerating AI and machine learning with our suite, that is, purpose built for Time series, analytics.

All of this, then, brought us to the development of the industrial enterprise Monitoring suite and Vantage is our new product here. Customers were crying out for something like Vantage because they were achieving scale so efficiently in Seeq that they created new challenges for themselves. How do they manage notifications at scales and ensure they are focusing efforts where they are needed most. Vantage allows your SME to add context to notifications at scale, add fault codes, assign tasks to others, monitor by exception to focus efforts where they should be, and of course automate all these activities so they can let Seeq to heavy lifting. The Roi goes up as you vertically move up from the foundation and the elevation of that subject matter expertise to the point of sustained impact.

All of this brought us to the development of Industrial Enterprise Monitoring. We again have a term no one else uses (yet), that refers to hundreds of solutions we can help customers achieve. Seeq has created an application foundation in our industrial analytics and AI suite that unifies all of these seemingly disparate topics. This is the foundation for IEM success, which includes our newest app, Seeq Vantage, but also automated condition monitoring, more agile enterprise data model, improved enterprise search and subject matter context capture.

ROI goes up vertically and the foundation for it all is the enablement and elevation of subject matter expertise. We recognize that that empowerment is what effectively delivers very fast ROI and sustainably drives customer organizations up the value path and our customers recognize it too.

In the process of doing that work, with important and urgent use cases taking priority, we gather countless formula, context, rules, and relationships. Relationships are a special sort of context, often overlooked, but perhaps the most important. It’s relationships between signals, assets, problems, targets, products, failures, usage, cause and effect, process, and control. All of that retained knowledge is immediately accessible to the SME for more use cases.

An in our roadmap, it is this web of knowledge that will inform the Industrial Enterprise Monitoring AI Assistant to augment this workflow in Seeq.
